- 380 new crypto roles were posted in May 2026, down 16.1% from April 2026 (453), across 38 companies.
- Binance posted the most new roles (90), followed by Ripple (45) and Fireblocks (38).
- Security was the largest category, at 16.3% of new roles.
- Security grew fastest: 62 roles, up from 34 in April 2026 (+82%).
- 21.6% of new roles were remote.
- The median advertised salary was $175,000 (midpoint of the posted range, across 42 US-dollar listings that published one).

Methodology
Cryptogrind collects open roles from the public job boards of 56 crypto companies, plus jobs posted directly by employers. A role counts toward the month it was first published. Employer-submitted posts are screened for scams before they go live, and duplicates are not counted twice.
The figures describe the companies Cryptogrind tracks, not the whole industry, and they skew towards larger exchanges and infrastructure firms. Salaries use the midpoint of the advertised range, only for US-dollar listings that publish one. Remote means the listing is open to remote candidates. March 2026 is excluded because it was the first month of data collection.
