What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor engineering teams in the design and delivery of high-quality blockchain and Web3 projects.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and clients to define technical solutions, project scope, and timelines.
• Oversee architecture decisions for smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and their supporting infrastructure to ensure scalability and performance.
• Guarantee on-time delivery of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards and adhering to best practices.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, security protocols, and code review processes to foster a culture of excellence.
• Manage project resources effectively, assess technical risks, and develop comprehensive development roadmaps.
• Play a pivotal role in hiring, onboarding, and performance management to build a high-performing engineering team.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering leadership or people management roles.
• Proven experience leading the development and delivery of blockchain and Web3 projects.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, decentralized applications (dApps), and Web3 technologies.
• Experience managing engineering teams across frontend, backend, blockchain, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, scalability, and security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Layer 2 solutions and interoperability protocols.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines in blockchain development.
• Knowledge of regulatory considerations and compliance in the DeFi space.
• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or community engagement within the crypto ecosystem.

##Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)). Exceptional candidates may be considered above the stated range. Additional performance-based incentives may be available. Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): $220,000 - $320,000 USD
