This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our smart contract and protocol layer, influencing the infrastructure that supports next-generation decentralized applications.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and optimize secure smart contracts in Solidity, ensuring they are gas-efficient and reliable.
  • Build and maintain essential protocol components, including identity management, compute modules, and access control systems.
  • Write comprehensive tests to validate contract functionality and help establish best security practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architectural decisions, focusing on cross-chain integration and seamless interoperability.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and emerging security patterns to enhance our protocols.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in Solidity development, with a strong understanding of smart contract design and security.
  • Proficiency in Rust, TypeScript, Python, and Go, with hands-on experience in building scalable backend solutions.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React and Next.js, as well as server-side technologies such as Node.js.
  • Experience with blockchain libraries including Ethers.js and Web3.js, and tools like Hardhat and Foundry for smart contract testing and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of DeFi protocols and the underlying mechanisms that drive decentralized exchanges (DEX).
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to architecture discussions and cross-team initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cross-chain development and protocols.
  • Familiarity with various blockchain ecosystems beyond Ethereum.
  • Previous involvement in open-source projects or contributions to community initiatives in the crypto space.
  • Understanding of gas optimization techniques and best practices for smart contract performance.

What We Offer

  • A fully remote work environment, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the world.
  • The option to receive your salary in cryptocurrency, aligning with our commitment to the decentralized ethos.
  • A small, agile team where your contributions will have a direct impact on our projects and company direction.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning in the fast-evolving Web3 landscape.
  • A collaborative culture that values innovation, creativity, and a shared vision of empowering developers and startups through decentralized infrastructure.
