This is a hands-on engineering role where your work will help shape the future of Web3, making on-chain data easily accessible and actionable.

What You'll Do

• Write and maintain Python scripts that efficiently fetch and process on-chain data from the Ethereum network.
• Utilize web3.py and asyncio to develop asynchronous data pipelines that ensure high performance and reliability.
• Integrate with external APIs and blockchain RPC endpoints to retrieve, index, and manage critical data points.
• Collaborate closely with the data indexing team to improve existing tooling and infrastructure, enhancing the developer experience for Ethereum projects.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data processing workflows to enhance both reliability and performance metrics.
• Contribute to our open-source projects, empowering other developers in the Ethereum ecosystem to leverage your work.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and frameworks like FastAPI.
• Experience using web3.py to interact with Ethereum smart contracts and on-chain data.
• Familiarity with asyncio, enabling the development of efficient data pipelines.
• Solid problem-solving skills with a passion for optimizing data workflows for performance and reliability.
• A proactive mindset, eager to collaborate with teammates and contribute to a dynamic, open-source environment.
• A foundational understanding of DeFi concepts and the broader Web3 landscape.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment of applications.
